TwoNovel Chalcones(2E)-3-[3-(4-Methylphenyl)-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl]-1-(naphthalen-2-yl)prop-2-en-1-one (1a) and (2E)-3-(1H-Indol-3-yl)-1-(naphthalen-2-yl) prop-2-en-1-one (1b)were synthesized and characterized by using spectral techniques like IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR and GC-MS.In general, these compoundsshowed better antibacterial activity. The newly synthesized compounds were docked with inflammatory protein (Pdb id: 2X6L)from the result it has been clearthat compound (1a)has highgold score.
