Photocatalytic degradation of organic dyes using Ag-TiO2 nanomaterials, and synthesis and characterization of Ag-TiO2 nanophotocatalysts using various instrumental techniques such as PXRD, SEM, FT-IR, UV-Visible spectrophotometer, TEM, XPS etc. The materials as prepared by sol-gel synthesis were dried in oven at 120oC followed by calcined at 450oC. Fine powdered photocatalysts were used for the photocatalysis of organic dye degradation. Organic dye which were of high risk present in water and water ponds released from various textile industries.
