Oxidative degradation of Potassium Dioxalato Diaquo Chromate (III) by water soluble colloidal Manganese Dioxide in acid medium

Abstract

The Oxidative degradation of Potassium dioxalato diaquo Chromate (III) by water soluble colloidal Manganese Dioxide in acid medium has been studied with varying concentration of the complex, colloidal MnO2 and HClO4 solution. This oxidation process obeys pseudo 1st order kinetics with respect to colloidal MnO2, 1st order kinetics with respect to concentration of the complex and concentration of HClO4.
