MgSO4 catalyzed one-pot multi-component reaction: Synthesis of amidoalkyl naphthols

Abstract

The development of highly efficient multicomponent reaction for the preparation of 1-amidoalkyl-2-naphthols using inexpensive and readily available MgSO4 as an efficient Lewis acid catalyst is reported.
