Generally speaking, Marxist theory is based on theo retical philosophy. If we want to use Marxist theor y to address practical issues, we have to step out of the trap o f mere theory and to combine philosophy with econom ics. In our society, it has been proven by facts that economic issues are the most important ones. If we do not an alyze economics, then we can not understand the social-ec onomic structure of our society and can not underst and the essence of things. This essay explores how Marxist philosophy is connected with reality from the persp ective of economics. I put economic issues in the context whe re China is still in the primary stage of socialism to try to find the connection between Maxim philosophy and economi cs and to specify how Marxist theory pays attention to economy in practice
