The ethanolic and aqueous extracts of the stem bark of Moringa oleifera were tested to study the effects on the inflammatory reaction, using the technique of carageenan induced paw edema in albino rats. Both the ethanolic and alcoholic extract showed significant anti-inflammatory activity comparable to the reference standard Diclofinac sodium.
