Activated Carbons are prepared using bio-waste materials- Phaseolus trilobus, Leucena leucocephala and Casuarina collected from agricultural field. Phaseolus trilobus is a grass material and branches of Leucena leucocephala and Casuarina. . Using the prepared carbons adsorption studies of Methylene Blue dye are made .Effect of adsorbent dose,contact time etc., on the percentage color removal of the dye was studied with the sorbents.
