Poly(malic acid), PMLA, is a non-immunogenic, biodegradable, bioabsorbable polyester. In recent years, PMLA has been used as a carrier for targeted delivery of anticancer drugs. The present report reviews on PMLA, its properties and its application in anticancer as drug delivery systems.
